PGL Major Antwerp: Spirit and FaZe Advance to Semifinals

The final Champions Stage of PGL Major Antwerp 2022 has started yesterday. In the first two quarterfinals, Team Spirit managed to upset FURIA Esports with a 2-0 score, while FaZe Clan outplayed Ninjas in Pyjamas with a 2-1 score. Now the winners of these matches will face each other in the semifinal, which is scheduled for May 21st, 3:30 PM UK time.

Today the event will feature the other two quarterfinals – first, ENCE will try to avenge their loss in the previous stage against Copenhagen Flames (3:30 PM), while later Heroic will face Natus Vincere (7:00 PM), whom they earlier defeated during the RMR-event.

The playoffs stage of PGL Major Antwerp 2022 follows a single-elimination format where all matches, including the grand finale, are best-of-five. It will conclude on May 22nd, with its winner claiming half of the $1,000,000 prize pool.
